Medical center officials banned student Vanessa Loznik from the medical center campus and are allegedly looking to pursue legal action against her, according to the report.
Officials said Ms. Loznik posed as a medical student and interacted with at least one patient despite not having authorized access to medical records and a qualified provider was present during the interaction, according to the report.
The medical center said it is working to re-verify all student credentials and asked staff to challenge any individual that attempts to gain access to the facility without a badge, according to the report. Officials said they are unsure how Ms. Loznik obtained access in the first place.
