UCHealth will hold a majority stake in Adeptus’ 12 Colorado freestanding emergency rooms, which will be renamed UCHealth ER. Two additional locations are currently being built. The facilities will be included in UCHealth’s EHR system.
Adeptus Health is the parent company of First Choice Emergency Room, which is the largest network of freestanding emergency rooms in the country.
