The agreement will allow independent physicians aligned with Tenet-sponsored clinically integrated organizations and ACOs to participate in patient-centered medical homes, bundled payment models and a “physician-driven pay-for-performance” incentive program.
Additionally, a Medicare Advantage company Cigna owns — Nashville, Tenn.-based HealthSpring — struck a deal with Tenet to give HealthSpring customers access to Tenet hospitals in Texas.
