Illinois’ Advocate Christ Medical Center, MD Anderson Announce Affiliation

Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Ill., has announced its affiliation with MD Anderson Physicians Network, according to a hospital news release.

MD Anderson Physicians Network is a subsidiary of The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. ACMC is the first Illinois hospital to affiliate with MD Anderson Physicians Network. Under this new partnership, The Cancer Institute at ACMC will use MD Anderson’s protocols to provide patients with some of the most advanced treatment options.

Associates, nurses and physicians at the Cancer Institute at ACMC also will have access to professional development programs offered by MD Anderson specialists, including multidisciplinary treatment planning conferences. The affiliation is expected to expand to additional Advocate hospitals in the future.
