Sutter Health CEO Pat Fry Becomes Chairman of California Hospital Association

Pat Fry, president and CEO Sutter Health, has been elected chairman of the California Hospital Association’s Board of Trustees, according to a report by the San Francisco Business Times.

Mr. Fry said he is focusing California’s budget crisis and federal health reform.

The other 2010 CHA officers are:

  • Chair-Elect Ronald Werft, president and CEO of Santa Barbara’s Cottage Health System;
  • Secretary-Treasurer Steven Packer, MD, president and CEO at Community Hospital of Monterey Peninsula; and
  • Past Chair Arnold Schaffer, vice president and CEO for Providence Health’s California region.
