San Diego’s Scripps Health Forms Integrated Delivery Network With 7 Physician Groups

San Diego-based Scripps Health has entered a joint venture with North American Medical Management California to form an integrated delivery network with NAMM’s affiliated physician groups, according to a Scripps news release.  

Seven physician groups in San Diego County are involved in the new joint venture, called Scripps Integrated Delivery Network. The network is organized to respond to alternative care management arrangements such as commercial or Medicare accountable care organizations, bundled payments, capitation and other quality incentive models, according to the release.

The San Diego physician groups involved in Scripps IDN are:

• Scripps Coastal Medical Group
• Scripps Clinic Medical Group
• Scripps Mercy Physician Partners Medical Group
• XIMED Medical Group
• Connect-the-Docs
• Mercy Physicians Medical Group
• Primary Care Associates Medical Group
