The ACO will consist of 10 to 15 primary care physicians, along with 15-20 specialists and an advanced diagnostic and surgery center. Victor G. Soto, MD, will serve as the ACO’s medical director, and David Hernandez, vice president of business development for PRMA, will serve as the ACO’s managing director.
The ACO is the first of 50 PRMA and ProMed plan to develop across the country over the next five years. The has a network of 17,500 physicians in its network of consultants that it will utilize in its ACO development plans, according to the report.
