The hospital’s Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute will offer the program, which will provide comprehensive services for patients with BAV, including diagnosis and medical and surgical management. The program will also provide screening for first degree relatives and psychological support for patients and families.
A multidisciplinary team comprised of cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, radiologists and a dedicated research nurse will work together to coordinate patients’ care.
