Northeast Ohio Medical University to Target Liberal Arts Students for Physician Programs

Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown and Hiram (Ohio) College have forged a new partnership to identify and recruit high-achieving liberal arts students who want to pursue a medical degree and provide primary care services or serve medically underserved populations.

Northeast Ohio Medical University is associated with several large hospitals and health systems throughout the state, including Akron-based Summa Health System, Akron General Health System and Aultman Hospital in Canton.
