The health insurance plans, called Ambetter from MHS Health Wisconsin, are the only marketplace plans with Integrated Health Network providers as the main network. Integrated Health Network includes a collection of independent practitioners in addition to Agnesian Healthcare in Fond du Lac, Wis., Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare in Glendale, Wis., and Milwaukee-based health systems Columbia St. Mary’s, Froedtert Health, Ministry Health Care and the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Together, the healthcare providers of Integrated Health Network are an accountable care organization, meaning the clinically integrated network works to improve the quality of care and drive down costs to share in savings.
MHS Health is an HMO that serves roughly 72,000 beneficiaries in Wisconsin.
