Maryland’s MedStar Health to Acquire Cardiology Practice

Columbia, Md.-based MedStar Health is in discussions to acquire Cardiology Associates, a cardiology practice with six locations throughout the metro Washington, D.C.-area, according to a Washington Business Journal report.

The health system, which operates nine hospitals, and the 27-physician practice expect to finalize the deal by February, according to the report.

Specific terms of the deal were not disclosed.
