The alignment aims to enhance services and provide individualized attention to patients. Under the agreement, MCVI clinical, diagnostic and business operations staff became employees of St. Mary’s of Michigan, effective Oct. 1, but continue to work at the MCVI facility. MCVI’s more than 24 physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants are remaining with MCVI and are able to work at other hospitals.
