The ACO is affiliated with Iowa Health System. As part of the partnership, LCC and St. Luke’s will pool resources in order to reduce spending and increase the quality of care, according to the report.

“The healthcare landscape is changing and Linn Community Care needed to select a long-term partner to help us navigate these challenges,” David Basel, MD, LCC’s medical director, told The Gazette. “We selected St. Luke’s [and] Iowa Health System as our partner because… [t]heir ACO model supports LCC’s strategy.”
