Currently, PAs in Missouri must have a physician on site supervising their work two-thirds of the time, according to the report. The legislation would cut the amount of physician onsite supervision time down to one half day for every 14 days the PA is practicing.
The bill is on its way to the governor’s desk for his signature, according to KCUR.
