The Primary Care Training and Enhancement grants are funded by HHS’ Health Resources and Services Administration, and include funds to train medical students for careers in primary care; develop curriculum for primary care residency programs; support programs that train physician assistants and PA program faculty; train physician to teach in primary care programs; and establish and maintain academic administrative units that provide clinical instruction in primary care.
