Cardiovascular Associates, based in Elk Grove Village, Ill., and Alexian Brothers Health System, based in Arlington Heights, Ill., have formed a definitive agreement to form the Alexian Brothers Heart and Vascular Institute, according to a joint news release.
Terms of the agreement were confidential, according to the report. The announcement follows Alexian Brothers’ recent merger with St. Louis-based Ascension Health, the largest Catholic health system in the country.
Cardiovascular Associates includes 17 specialists and has sites at four locations.
