The three specialists will instead practice at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital in Newark, N.Y. Finger Lakes Medical Associates cited inadequate weekend staffing as well as difficulty recruiting physicians for the Geneva General OB-GYN program as reasons for the change, according to YNN.
Because the specialists will no longer practice at Geneva General, the hospital will discontinue delivering babies in May, according to the report.
