Under the agreement, Life Flight will begin providing services at St. Luke’s July 1, 2018.
St. Luke’s previously contracted with Philadelphia-based Penn Medicine to receive air medical services through the health system’s PennSTAR program.
Officials at either health system did not provide additional explanations regarding St. Luke’s decision not to renew its contract with PennSTAR. They also did not reveal the financial details of the transaction, the report states.
