Florida is getting more new residencies to help battle the physician shortage in the state, the report said. Sixteen state hospitals are gaining slots. Tallahassee (Fla.) Memorial Hospital and Florida Hospital in Orlando are gaining the most positions, 78 and 69, respectively.
