Dayton Children’s, Miami Valley Hospital in Ohio Form Joint Venture

The Children’s Medical Center of Dayton (Ohio) announced it has formed a joint venture with Miami Valley Hospital, also in Dayton, to enhance neonatal care.

The new company, Southwest Ohio Neonatal Collaborative, will launch July 1. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

The two systems care for more than 80 percent of critically ill newborns in the area, and Dayton Children’s performs 85 percent of the region’s complex neonatal procedures.
