The physicians come from St. Peters (Mo.) Bone & Joint Surgery, Premier Care Orthopedics in Bridgeton, Mo., and Northland Mid-America Orthopedics in Florissant, Mo. Eight of the physicians started their employment in Dec. 2010. The remaining six started in Feb. 2011, according to the news report.
SSM Orthopedics consists of five locations throughout the St. Louis and St. Charles area and is part of SSM Health Care-St. Louis.
