The four-year program will be open to 24 students each year. Curriculum will focus on primary care medical skills necessary to treat individual patients, along with public health policy, leadership skills and how to work with other health professionals for team-based care delivery.
Students will engage in nine-month clerkships based in physician practices, where they will follow a cohort of patients through the care continuum while working with a mentor primary care physician.
