Ms. Fair is accused of stealing a credit card from Michael Heatherly after his corpse was brought to the hospital. Records show charges to the card made at a self storage facility and fast food restaurant after Mr. Heatherly had died. Ms. Fair was fired after details of the incident emerged.

Authorities say Ms. Fair was not connected to Mr. Heatherly’s still-unsolved murder. She is being held in Sullivan County Jail on $50,000 bond.
