AMGA’s ACO Collaborative Holds First Meeting

The American Medical Group Association convened its first meeting of its ACO Development Collaborative on Oct. 1, with leaders from 22 medical group attending, according to a AMGA news release.

The leaders met to discuss how to develop accountable care organizations and transform the way groups deliver and are reimbursed for providing care.

Additionally, representatives from nine corporate sponsors, including Abbott, Premera Blue Cross and VHA, Inc., among others, also attended the event, according to a separate AMGA release.
