The practice is the result of a merger between two San Francisco-based groups, San Francisco Shoulder, Elbow & Hand Clinic and California Pacific Orthopedics. The newly merged group will maintain three locations throughout the city and one in nearby San Rafael, Calif.

“Now as a combined practice we can collaborate more closely to provide patients with excellent and individualized musculoskeletal care, from non-operative sports medicine and interventional spine to the most complex of orthopedic surgeries,” Peter Callander, MD, board chairman of the merged organization, said in a statement.
