High levels of COVID-19 spread nationwide: CDC

The U.S. now has a high level of community transmission because of COVID-19 cases rapidly increasing in some regions, according to the CDC’s COVID Data Tracker

As of July 27, the nation has a seven-day case rate of 119.8 new cases per 100,000 people, reports the CDC. The seven-day positivity rate is 7.61 percent. 

No states are seeing low levels of transmission.
