HHS, Critical Care Collaborative Recognize Hospitals Reducing Infections

Twelve hospitals have been recognized by the Critical Care Societies Collaborative and HHS for reducing and eliminating healthcare-associated infections.

The recipients reduced and eliminated central line-associated bloodstream infections and ventilator-associated pneumonia for at least 25 months and have shared their evidence-based initiatives to help improve clinical practice, according to the release.
