Three things to know:

1. The infection occurred in a 6-month-old baby in Bunia, the second-largest city in eastern Congo to confirm a case of the virus. Health officials are still investigating how the child was infected, as both parents appear healthy.

2. Bunia is located about 160 miles north of Butembo and Katwa, the current outbreak hot spots. All three cities sit along the Uganda border.

3. As of March 19, the WHO reported 980 confirmed and probable Ebola infections linked to the outbreak, including 610 deaths.
