Death toll rises in Illinois Legionnaires’ disease outbreak

Ten people have died in the Illinois Veterans’ Home-Quincy Legionnaires’ disease outbreak as of Wednesday, according to a Reuters report.

All but one of the dead were residents of the veterans home.

The case count in the outbreak sits at 53, according to the Illinois Department of Public Health.
