Comments on National Action Plan to Prevent HAIs Due June 25

Comments on the revised draft “National Action Plan to Prevent Healthcare-Associated Infections: Roadmap to Elimination” are due June 25, according to the Federal Register.

The revision updates a version first published in 2009, called “HHS Action Plan to Prevent Healthcare-Associated Infections.” The new action plan added sections specific to infection reduction in ambulatory surgical centers and end-stage renal disease facilities and a section on increasing influenza vaccination of healthcare personnel.
