Colorado Springs hospital shooting leaves 2 dead

A weekend shooting inside a patient room at UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central in Colorado Springs left two people dead, The Colorado Springs Gazette reported.

Police said they found a deceased male and female after the June 22 shooting, which occurred around 1 p.m.

The names of the two victims have not been released, and the hospital declined to say whether either victim was a patient or visitor.

The hospital said no hospital staff were injured or involved in the shooting.
