CDC updates tool that maps out data for HIV, STDs, hepatitis and TB

The CDC has released an updated version of its NCHHSTP Atlas, a tool that allows users to map out the incidence of various infections and diseases, including HIV, sexually transmitted diseases, hepatitis and tuberculosis.

The new version includes an advanced query function that allows users to compare two or more diseases, examine multiple states or counties, view two or more years of data and focus on demographic subpopulations of interest.

The CDC also added county-level data for tuberculosis infections and data for HIV, STDs and tuberculosis from 2013.
