Mortality associated with flu viruses still remains below the epidemic threshold, the report says. The most commonly reported virus for the week ending Nov. 21 was influenza A viruses, with influenza A (H3) being the most common. During the same week, 1.6 percent of all U.S. outpatient visits were due to influenza-like illness. South Carolina is the only state that week to have experienced moderate influenza-like activity levels, with all other states having minimal activity.
