BIDMC staff channel Taylor Swift for video on fighting the flu and hand hygiene

Staff from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston found a creative way to urge healthcare personnel and others to fight the flu and wash their hands this season: They created a parody of Taylor Swift’s hit song “Shake It Off.”

“There’s a rule you must obey, bey, bey, bey,
To keep the flu away, way, way, way, way
Gotta wash ’em like you’re cra-cra, cra-cra, cra
Then shake ’em off, shake ’em off,” the hospital’s Flu Fighters team sing in the chorus.
