APIC Launches Infection Control Website for Patients

The Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology has launched a new website covering what patients can do to participate in infection control, titled Infection Prevention and You.

The website contains resources for prevention-minded members of the public to improve infection prevention in multiple settings, from healthcare facilities to their homes.

The website also features a patient empowerment infographic defining and detailing sources of hospital-acquired infections as well as actions patients can take to prevent the spread of infection.
