The grants were provided through the new Academic Progression in Nursing program, which aims to support state and regional strategies for “creating a more highly educated, diverse nursing workforce,” according to the release.
The following states were chosen to receive the grants:
• California
• Hawaii
• Massachusetts
• Montana
• New Mexico
• New York
• North Carolina
• Texas
• Washington state
