The following is a list of hospitals for which 79 percent or more of patients reported on their HCAHPS surveys that staff "always" explained medications before giving them to the patients.

Data were pulled from Hospital Compare and is from January 2014 through December 2014, the most recent data available.

For reference, the national average rate for patients reporting that staff "always" explained medications before giving them to the patients is 65 percent.

Note: Hospitals with insufficient data, such as having fewer than 100 completed surveys, were excluded.
