43 Minnesota hospitals recognized for high employee flu shot rates

The Minnesota Department of Health is recognizing hospitals and nursing homes across the state for achieving high flu vaccination rates among employees, reports Fox 9 News.

The health department recently published its “FluSafe Facilities” list, which features 43 hospitals and 26 nursing homes in Minnesota. The healthcare facilities all reported a 90 percent employee vaccination rate or higher during the 2018-19 flu season.

The facilities were also recognized for their work to address vaccination barriers.
