• Installed rubber floors that do not need to be cleaned with harsh chemicals.
• Use non-alcohol, non-bleach wipes instead of disposable alcohol wipes. Bleach is reserved for cleaning rooms where infected patients stayed, according to the report.
• Use microfiber mops that require less water and last longer than string mops.
