A hospital spokesperson confirmed the Feb. 3 cases but did not provide details.

Last week, the Connecticut Health Department reported that a man from New Haven County contracted the state’s first 2019 case of the measles. Connecticut reported three measles cases last year.

Health officials said they are working with the hospital and more information will be released Feb. 4.

There have been several measles outbreaks this year, including one in New York state, and one in Washington state that spread to Oregon.
