12 Infection Preventionists Receive APIC Award

Twelve infection preventionists have received the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology’s Heroes of Infection Prevention Award for reducing infection, raising awareness and improving the public’s health.

The recipients are nominated by their peers or self-nominated and must meet criteria in education, patient safety, advocacy and influence, process and systems development, program development and cost savings.
