UAB expands outpatient rehab services

Birmingham, Ala.-based UAB Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation opened a new clinic in partnership with UAB Neurosurgery.

The clinic, opening Feb. 4, is located on the University of Alabama at Birmingham Medicine Inverness One campus, according to a Jan. 28 system news release. It will provide outpatient care focused on spine and musculoskeletal medicine and include diagnostic services, nonoperative management, electrodiagnostic testing and therapeutic injections.

The site marks the fourth spine and musculoskeletal clinic managed by UAB Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
