The Joint Commission partnership to expand nursing home insurance benefits

The Joint Commission partnered with Manchester Specialty Programs to provide insurance pricing benefits to Joint Commission-accredited nursing homes, assisted living facilities, home care, hospice and medical staffing firms.

Manchester Specialty offers business insurance coverage including workers’ compensation, professional and general liability, property, crime, non-owned auto, abuse coverage and cyber liability, according to a Feb. 16 Joint Commission news release.

Facilities can access the insurance program through their local insurance agent or broker, according to the release.
