Nursing and residential facilities added 13,200 jobs in January, according to a March 4 Altarum report.
This job growth marks the first time the nursing and residential care industry has exceeded prepandemic levels, the report said.
Wages grew by 4% at nursing and residential care facilities in December 2024, compared to 5.1% at hospitals and 4.3% at ambulatory centers.
