Three inpatient rehab hospitals in the country have zero preventable readmissions, according to CMS data.
CMS’ inpatient rehabilitation facility-provider database has quality-of-patient-care measures for inpatient rehabilitation facilities. The database, last updated Dec. 4, contains measures from Oct. 1, 2022, through Sept. 30, 2024. Becker’s used the database to find the number of potentially preventable hospital readmissions 30 days after discharge from an inpatient rehabilitation facility.
