PeaceHealth to open $76M inpatient rehab hospital

Vancouver, Wash.-based PeaceHealth is opening Oregon’s first freestanding inpatient rehabilitation hospital, ABC affiliate KDRV reported Aug. 22.

PeaceHealth Springfield Rehabilitation Hospital — a $76 million, 67,000-square-foot facility — is located in Springfield, Ore. near PeaceHealth RiverBend Hospital. It will open in September and serve 42 patients before expanding to 60 patients.

The hospital will also be the region’s first dedicated traumatic brain injury unit. 

PeaceHealth and Lifepoint Rehabilitation in Brentwood, Tenn., jointly own and operate the facility.
