North Dakota rehab hospital names CEO

Grand Forks, N.D.-based Altru Rehabilitation Hospital named Rob Holcomb CEO.

Mr. Holcomb has more than 15 years of executive leadership experience and most recently served as CEO of UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Fla., according to an Aug. 24 hospital news release shared with Becker’s. His top priority is providing exceptional patient experience and quality care. 

“Rob excels in creating cultures where employees and patients thrive,” Tiffany Kiehl, president of Encompass Health’s Central region, said in the release. “He is a seasoned healthcare executive who understands how to achieve strong patient outcomes. He will lead the hospital to continued success.” 

The 40-bed inpatient rehab hospital is a joint venture between Encompass Health and Altru and opened in 2022.
