Home health, hospice trade group taps CEO

The NAHC-NHPCO Alliance, a new industry trade group for home care and hospice providers, has named Steven Landers, MD, as its inaugural CEO.

Dr. Landers has more than two decades of healthcare leadership experience in home- and community-based care. From 2012 to 2023, he served as president and CEO of the Visiting Nurse Association Health Group. Prior to this role, he was the director of home care at Cleveland Clinic. 

He holds board-certifications in family medicine, geriatric medicine, and hospice and palliative medicine, according to an Aug. 26 news release.

The Alliance was formed through the merger of the National Association for Home Care & Hospice and the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization.
