Ensign buys 7 skilled nursing facilities in 6 states

The Ensign Group, which invests in post-acute and healthcare services and real estate, acquired a rehab hospital and seven skilled nursing facilities in six states, it said in a May 1 news release.

The acquisitions take effect May 1 and include:

  • River Park Post Acute, 66 beds in Chandler, Arizona.
  • Spencer Post Acute Rehabilitation Center, 82 beds in Spencer, Iowa.
  • Hillside Village of De Soto Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, 49 beds in De Soto, Kansas.
  • Creekview Health and Rehabilitation, 78 beds in Knoxville, Tennessee.
  • Foothills Transitional Care and Rehabilitation, 135 beds in Maryville, Tennessee.
  • Midlothian Healthcare Center, 120 beds in Midlothian, Texas.
  • South Davis Specialty Care, 95 beds in Bountiful, Utah.
  • Western Peaks Specialty Hospital, 43 beds in Bountiful, Utah.

These acquisitions bring Ensign’s portfolio to 310 healthcare operations, 29 of which are senior living operations, in 14 states.
