Concord Township, Pa.-based Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Concordville opened May 5 and began accepting patients.
The 66,000-square-foot, 50-bed inpatient rehab hospital provides services to patients recovering from strokes, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations and complex orthopedic conditions, according to a May 5 system news release.
This makes the 10th hospital Encompass has opened in Pennsylvania, and another one is expected to open in the state later this year.
Encompass Health is the nation’s largest owner and operator of inpatient rehab hospitals.
